We opened in early 2015 as Sushi-O, but shortly after, changed our name to World Fusion so we could focus on more worldly cuisines beyond sushi and sashimi. Our chefs gather inspiration for unique plates from all over Asia, including Japan, Thailand and China. Our menu also includes a variety of healthy choices, as well as many gluten free and vegetarian friendly dishes.
In 2019, we were honored to win Citrus County Chronicle's Best of the Best for Seafood Choice with Honorable Mention Chef & Server. We also won Seafood Category and People's Choice when we headed over to Taste of Inverness.
So far, in 2020, we were once again honored to win Citrus County Chronicle's Best of the Best for Seafood Choice with honorable mention in the Dinner category.
Meet The Team
Head Sushi Chef
For the past 5 years, Erin has worked hard to create the best possible experience for each customer when they visit World Fusion. As head sushi chef, she has delivered many sushi rolls that both delectable in flavor and have dynamic visual presentation.
Her favorite sushi rolls are The Clayton Roll and The Sushi Rockefeller. When she is not working, she enjoys being on the water and spending time with her dog, Staisha.
Front of House Manager
Shelby started with World Fusion in 2019 as a server and worked her way up to Front of House manager. Her goal is to make the customer experience amazing from the time they enter the parking lot to the time they leave. She wants every meal to be enjoyable and memorable.
Her favorite dish is the Tempura Philly Roll. In her spare time, she loves working with horses, hunting and fishing.
Chef Tyler started at World Fusion in 2019. He attended Culinary school in 2018 at Withlacoochee Technical Institute. As head chef, he takes pride in the flavors and plating of each plate before it leaves the kitchen and comes to the table.
His favorite dish is Spicy Korean Beef. When he's not in the kitchen, he loves to go flea marketing and spend time with his family and friends.
